The Southport Methodist Church window is one example of Richard Macdonald.s custom work. Each project is a personal undertaking. This window was unusual in that it was meant to be seen from the outside at night by passersby, unlike most church windows that provide colorful scenes to be viewed by the congregation inside during services. He deliberated for a long time on the colors alone, lining glass pieces in the studio windows and considering them from outside in the backyard.
